Sharing these pans of my favorite Jolly Spaghetti with my best friend, my mom.
For the longest time, Jolly Spaghetti has been my go-to order at Jollibee. I never really bothered with ordering chicken or any of their burgers, just because Jolly Spaghetti has always been the fix I needed (cheesy as it may sound, it's true). I even brought family pans to a couple of potluck parties in the past years, knowing the joy it would bring the kids (and kids at heart haha). Diba? It's such a classic treat. I have eaten a lot of pasta in this lifetime (my parents' default order for me haha), but this one is truly a favorite of mine.
This month, I'm sharing these Jolly Spaghetti family pans with my mom as an advanced Mother's Day treat.
Admit it or not, we often take our moms for granted. The fact that they're always there for us makes us forget to appreciate them. Whenever we want something, it's mom we look for. We ask her for dating advice, for help on school projects, for tips on what to wear, etc. Moms always put others ahead, and themselves, last. Do we ever stop to think about them and their needs? Being a mom is a 24/7 job and Mother's Day is that one day a year when we celebrate them and thank them for all the things they've done for us. But that shouldn't be the case. Moms deserve to be treated special not only on Mother's Day, but every single day of their lives. Without our moms, we wouldn't be here, literally.
