Discover Pastries to Love with Bakers Connect

Your source for well-curated home baked goodies for everyday and special occasions!

Gone are the days when you have to go out of your house to purchase something. Nowadays, all you have to do is go online, click a button, and wait for your items to arrive at your doorstep. It started with fast food delivery, then clothes, then beauty products, and now, baked goods! And as much as I love going out, sometimes it's not really practical anymore, especially with the crazy Manila traffic.

Recently, I discovered Bakers Connect, a startup online marketplace that connects home bakers to its customers. It is the first of its kind, a one-stop platform where you can find well-curated home baked goods for everyday and special occasions. It's like a database of sorts which makes it easier for us consumers to find specific types of cakes, cookies, muffins, breads, and whatever else.
So if you're like me, I'm sure you'll love this site too! Whether for cafe or coffee shops' needs or for personal enjoyment, Bakers Connect has a unique assortment of fresh and made-to-order baked goodies. They also carry healthy, fit-for-lifestyle breads and pastries - from keto, low sugar, and whole food ingredients!

Here are some of the things I got to try from their site:
The Fresh Fruit Cake is made with a chocolate and Bavarian cream base topped with fresh fruits. It's great for those looking for a fresh, year-round alternative to its seasonal rum-soaked counterpart. I like that they didn't make the base too sweet, so you really get to enjoy the flavors of each fruit.
We really enjoyed the Fresh Fruit Cake by Heaven Sent Desserts. Get your own 9-inch cake for only Php 1,200.

Another cake we got to try was the Pineapple Carrot Cake
As much as I hate eating carrots, I actually love carrot cakes, and this one is no exception. It's moist and delicious, a perfect blend of pineapple and carrots topped with decadent cream cheese frosting.

I used to always go for chocolate cakes, but the past years, I've been veering away from super sweet and chocolatey stuff. I really like how this Pineapple Carrot Cake has just the right sweetness and creaminess to it. I can definitely see myself having more of this in the future.
This one was also created by Heaven Sent Desserts and it's priced at Php 900 for a 9-inch cake.
Last but not the least is their Choco Crinkles
Generously sprinkled with powdered sugar, these soft and chewy chocolate crinkles will remind you of your childhood. I used to eat chocolate crinkles a lot, sometimes, I'd even bake them.
It's really just a classic treat that everyone loves and enjoys. And quite affordable, too, at Php 120 per box. Get yours here!
I totally love the whole concept of Bakers Connect and will recommend it to my friends (both bakers and consumers!) Read more about how Baker Connect works here or visit them at bakersconnect.ph.
