Sebastian's Ice Cream

My first Sebastian's Ice Cream experience!

Everyone who's ever shared a meal with me probably already knows this - I love desserts. I honestly believe that there's a special part of my tummy reserved just for it. No matter how full I get, there is always room for dessert. So just imagine my excitement when Spanky told us we'd be dropping by Sebastian's Ice Cream after our amazing sizzling ramen experience at Kureji, Vertis North!

It was my first time to try Sebastian's (I know, I can't believe it either!) so I was really overwhelmed with all the flavors they have available.
I tried a couple, starting from the regular flavors like French Vanilla and Coffee (Up All Night), to the more unique ones like Mangga't Suman, Champorado, Sapin-Sapin, and Salted Egg Yolk.
One of my favorites was the Flowers and Chocolate. There's just something about rose petals that I  really like.
They also have an ampalaya flavored ice cream called Unresolved Issues (ampalaya sorbet and candied ampalaya chunks) which is part of their Valentines 2018 Collection. Unfortunately, I wasn't brave enough to try this, and now I have unresolved issues on whether I'll like it or not! Hahaha weh!

In the end, I decided to go with Matinong Boyfriend, which comes from the same collection as Unresolved Issues. It is made from sweet cream ice cream, strawberry sorbet, and pound cake ripple. I liked the different textures and the mix of flavors in this one. The strawberry sorbet was especially yummy.
It was also my first time to go to an ice cream shop with four guys, so it was pretty interesting to see which flavors they'd order. Gerry got himself a Triple Combo Cup consisting of the Butter Pecan, Macadamia White, and Chocoholics Anonymous.
Inky went with the most colorful (and therefore, Instagrammable) flavor - Sapin-Sapin.
For our diabetic friend Jeng, the Sugar-Free Chocolate.
And for Spanky, the Grilled Dulce de Leche Sandwich which was CRAZY GOOD. Thank you for letting me have the last bite, Spanks!!
And we didn't stop there. When Spanky told us that we should try the banana split, I didn't think much of it. I mean, banana splits almost always look the same. But my oh my, was I wrong. Sebastian's Dipped Banana Split is one of a kind - it features your choice of three scoops of ice cream, toppings, sauce, and a frozen dipped banana (we went with the peanut butter!)
But my favorite find of the day would have to be Sebastian's Salted Egg Yolk Ice Cream! It's legit, guys!!
See you again soon, Sebastian's!!
Sebastian's Ice Cream is located at Level 4, Ayala Malls Vertis North, Bagong Pag-Asa, Quezon City.
