Isdaan Floating Restaurant opens its third branch in Nueva Ecija!
I remember some years back, our family went on a roadtrip up north. On our way back to Manila, we stopped by Isdaan in Gerona, Tarlac (the first ever branch) where we feasted on a number of Filipino dishes and even got to throw a couple of plates at their famous Tacsiyapo Wall.
Just recently, I got to relive those wonderful memories with my friends as we celebrated the long weekend by heading to Isdaan's newest branch in Talavera, Nueva Ecija!
If you've never been to any of Isdaan's three branches - Tarlac, Laguna, or Nueva Ecija - then you're in for a treat! This place offers a one-of-a-kind experience and a lot of photo opportunities with its Asian-inspired sculptures and funny-looking statues found all over the restaurant!
They also have numerous dining areas - my favorite are their bamboo huts where you can eat, enjoy the fresh air, and watch live shows from!
Other dining areas:
Unfortunately during our visit, it rained, so we had to stay indoors. At first, we were all disappointed because we wouldn't be able to explore any more. But it turned out for the better since we got to enjoy the performances of the ever so popular Singing Cooks and Waiters while having dinner!
There was no electricity for a bit too due to the bad weather, but it was all good! Everyone was just so cheerful and friendly, so you can't help but get into the happy mood as well!
The food:
Of course, don't forget to visit their Tacsiyapo Wall to smash a plate or two for Php 25 each! It's never good to bottle up your anger! Release those frustrations as you shout "tacsiyapo" or "bwisit ka" to those who've wronged you!
Watch their live shows too if you can. They do not charge additional fees for any of these, so you're kept entertained while you eat! ;)
