Share Movement's Workshop Party

Workshop Party
Posting some snapshots of the awesome happenings at Share Movement's second birthday last Saturday!

Share Movement held a workshop party to celebrate their second year and invited - not one, not two, not three - but five speakers to share their expertise with twelve lucky attendees! I actually signed up the moment Jam announced the event a few weeks ago! I couldn't help it - Php 1,200 for five talks was too good a deal to pass up! :)

I wasn't a fan of macarons until I tried Merry Macarons! I was lucky enough to win the raffle and go home with six of these! My mom, my sister, and I couldn't pick a favorite because they all tasted great!

Happy birthday to you, Share Movement!Workshop Party
I seriously wanted to bring these flowers home. So pretty and crafty!

All proceeds of the workshop party go to the Joseph Feeding Mission, which is the mission arm of The Rock of My Salvation Media Ministries. "Our mission is to reach out, share God's love to as many people as we can and extend help to those who are in need." To know more about them, please visit therockofmysalvation.org and josephfeeding.org!

With that, I'd like to introduce the wonderful people who generously shared their expertise and spoke for a cause that day - beginning with Kisty Mea! She talked about the basics of blogging for those interested in starting out.

Reese Lansangan was up next. She told us all about her fashion evolution since her grade school days and introduced us to the world of Asian kawaii fashion.
Workshop Party
Raniel Hernandez spoke about his passion - mobile photography! Have you seen his Instagram account? It's pretty awesome.
Workshop Party
Ginger de Guia taught us her favorite watercolor techniques and gave each of us Prang kits to practice with!

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE MESSY DAYS AHEAD! :D

My favorite technique is wet in wet (bottom right)! Look at how beautifully the colors blended together!

Finally, Rhiza Oyos inspired us with her story about working a job she didn't like and how she found herself where she is now - doing her passion and starting Pursuit Manila.
Workshop Party
Went home with this St. Hale cookie that I need to get more of really soon! It's two cookies with molten chocolate and homemade marshmallows (torched on the spot!!) in the middle. In Jam's words: super sinful!

Thank you, Share Movement, for the awesome Saturday despite the traffic and rain. Congratulations and looking forward to next time! :)
