Uncle Cheffy's New Corned Beef Creations

Uncle Cheffy
Last April 13, Uncle Cheffy released seven new dishes to the public, and I was lucky enough to have been one of the first to try their latest offerings.

Corned beef has always been a staple at our home - you can have it straight out of the can, with onions and garlic, a bit toasted, or with potatoes. I always knew there were many ways to eat it, but not this many! Imagine, in just one night, we got to try six corned beef dishes - ranging from sinigang to curry!

Even though Uncle Cheffy has been around for more than five years now, they still provide us with new and exciting dishes, proving that there's more to them than just panizza and pasta (but yes, these now have corned beef versions, too!)

What's great about these new dishes is that main ingredient comes straight from their kitchen. Uncle Cheffy make their own corned beef not only to ensure the quality, but to keep their prices to a minimum, as well. It has always been the goal of owners Larry Cortez and Mau Arjona Jr. to offer affordable, yet flavorful dishes to the public - that's why customers keep coming back for more.

Corned Beef Sinigang (P195 / P350)
I thought it lacked the kick, then again, I've always liked my sinigang extra sour - I add tamarind powder to my own bowl at home - so don't take my word on this. Haha

Corned Beef and Mushroom Salpicao (P295)
The dish I probably would've loved more if I got to try it while it was still warm. That's what happens when you take photos before you eat. #BloggerProblems

But seriously, the beef was tender, the sauce was on point, and lastly, mushrooomsss! Will order this again soon!

Out of all the corned beef dishes we got to try, my favorites would have to be the last two - the Corned Beef Curry (P295) and Mediterranean Corned Beef (P320)! Their flavors stood out the most for me (being that they're the most different), and they go so well with rice, too!

As an extra treat, we also got to try Uncle Cheffy's Fried Chicken, which they serve with their special banana sauce. I can imagine kids loving this since it's like eating spaghetti and chicken in one!

Thank you so much to Sir Larry, Chef Mau, and the staff of Uncle Cheffy Mckinley for the warm welcome! :)
