Wooden Spoon: Worth Raving About

Mike had been raving about Wooden Spoon ever since he got to eat there with his family over a month ago. So when our schedules finally permitted, he brought me to Katipunan Avenue so I can try it out for myself! :)
Mike and I have the same pose here. I don't know why. :P

Since he already had an idea of what he wanted to eat, it didn't take long for us to send in our order and the food to arrive.

For starters, Mike got us their Crab Pancit (P165) - crispy noodles with creamy egg sauce and crab meat.
How it looks like when mixed (best eaten immediately if you don't want the pancit to lose its crispiness)
You should've seen Mike's face when he tasted their pancit. He had the silliest smile on his face. His eyes were even closed! Pwedeng pwede mag commercial! Haha!

Next on his list: Stuffed Pechay (P165). Ooohh, vegetables! I think this is the first time that we've ordered something healthy in a restaurant. It's pechay stuffed with tinapa (smoked fish) in mildly spicy coconut sauce. The sauce makes all the difference. Super yummy! :)
Mike also wanted me to try their Dinakdakan, unfortunately, it wasn't available at the time, so we went with their Baked Chicken (P185) instead. Something new for the both of us to try :)

The chicken was cooked perfectly. Tender and creamy. Enough said. :)

This cozy little space was occupied when we arrived. I want to sit here next time!!:p

When we finished eating devouring everything, Mike and I talked about our favorites. For him, it was the Crab Pancit. For me, it's a tie between the Baked Chicken and the Stuffed Pechay (I seriously couldn't decide between the two).

I guess that just means that everything we ordered was just really, really good. We'll definitely dine here again soon. :)

Mike and I with our happy tummies :)
