Back at my Favorite Nail Spa: Nail Cocktales

It's been a while since I've last been to Nail Cocktales but every time I visit, I'm always reminded why it's my go-to nail spa in the metro.

Nail Cocktales has been around since 2012 and just after five years, the brand already has over 20, maybe even 30 branches, all over the Philippines! Their first ever (and main) branch is located at Tomas Morato, on the second floor of HBar Spa, both of which are owned and operated by Ms. Agnes Buena.

I first fell in love with Nail Cocktales back in 2013 when my mom, sister, and I spent a spontaneous afternoon having lunch out and getting pampered. I thought their beautiful interiors, along with the teal-colored accents, was the perfect look for a nail spa - refreshing and relaxing at the same time.

Aside from that, Nail Cocktales offers not only services, but drinks in the form of alcohol as well. That's why I like going here - they have the ultimate relaxation package, don't you agree? A lot of people I know have had parties here, mostly bridal and baby showers, and I'd recommend you check them out, too, when the need arises.

Usually, bookings are for the entire place, but, you know, you could always have a mini party with two or three of your gal pals. Just take a look at this space:

Party perfect, diba?

Or if you feel like getting some alone time, I'd recommend them too. There's more than enough space so it doesn't feel like you're too close to the next person.

Their packages are quite affordable, with Divalicious (manicure and spa) starting at Php 400.

But their newest offering is the Royal Highness, which includes a manicure, pedicure, detox ball, and a 30-minute foot reflex, for Php 1000.

They had me dip my feet in warm water, then they added in the detox ball, which immediately dissolved and became all bubbly (much like a bath bomb).

I've been to a lot of nail spas, but I've never encountered this anywhere else. I think it's pretty cool how it kind of takes the whole pampering thing up a notch. I like it.

The package also comes with your choice of imported nail polish. And believe me, there's a lot to choose from.

Swatches are also available so you can easily see how the color would look on your nails.

As always, the nail technicians are very careful when it comes to cleaning the nails. I always get the skin around my nails removed since it gets thick and dry easily, and Nail Cocktales does the job flawlessly.

Another thing about this package is that it comes with a glass of wine.

Free wine! Who doesn't want that, right?

For my nails, I picked a pinkish shade from Inglot. I was attending a wedding that weekend so I figured, why not make my dress and nails all matchy matchy?
