What is Sample Room? Sample Room is a site that offers free product sampling. Basically when you sign on, you get 100 free points which you can use to get samples. For every product you review, you get back the points you spent and an additional incentive point. So, for example, you use 30 points for a bottle of lotion, you get back 30+1 points once they've published your review.
Sample Room allows you to try different products, so you'll know what works for you and what doesn't. It is really a good way to save money since all you have to pay for is the shipping fee.
For these three items, I paid a total of 130 pesos shipping fee. Note: you're only allowed to get three samples per transaction. The fourth item is considered a new transaction (and therefore requires a separate shipping fee).
The items came with a Kim Chiu CD (valued at Php199) for free. So if you had plans of purchasing this CD by the Chinita Princess, you really saved a lot of money with this haul. ;)
For this unboxing, here are the three SkinWhite products I will be reviewing:
SkinWhite Classic Whitening Lotion SPF 10

The main thing I liked about this one is that it's not sticky. As the label says, it has a "Light Feel Technology," so personally, I like using it right before I leave the house because it dries easily. Other lotions will make you feel sticky and dirty even before you arrive at your destination, plus it has a powdery scent, so this is truly a great product, in my opinion. "SkinWhite Classic SPF 10 delivers a smoother, whiter you in just two weeks! With its Synchrowhite Action that works in 4 ways all at the same time, skin is conditioned, micro-exfoliated, and visibly fairer. It also combines Vitamins B5, B3, B6, C & E to nourish and moisturize the skin. And now with its Better Scent and Better Feel, SkinWhite Classic Lotion is truly BETTER THAN EVER."
SkinWhite Advanced PowerWhitening Lotion SPF20

Now compared to the SkinWhite Classic Whitening Lotion, this one has a much thicker formula. I recommend using it before going to bed so your skin can really take in all of its benefits. It has a floral scent, which I found a bit too strong, but that's fine since I use it at night anyway. With this one, I feel like a little goes a long way. As for its whitening powers, I haven't really noticed much change yet, then again, I don't really apply lotion regularly, so yeah.
Anyway, just to give you an idea, here is how the two lotions look like when applied. The SkinWhite Advanced PowerWhitening, as I mentioned, has a thick formula (left), while the SkinWhite Classic Whitening Lotion looks more diluted (right).
SkinWhite Advanced PowerWhitening Face Cream Powder

Out of the three products in this haul, this one is my favorite. It not only whitens, but in also moisturizes in a matte powder finish. I use it whenever I attend events because it covers up the oily parts of my face.
This product is actually a cream, but it magically transforms into powder when applied. And since I have combination skin (both oily and dry), I can't use regular powder because it makes my face even drier, so this is really the perfect product for me.
So overall, I received Php 278.05 worth of products for Php 130 pesos. If I include the value of the CD, that makes it a total of Php 477.05. But the real question is, would I buy the products again? Hmm, I'd totally go for the SkinWhite Classic Whitening Lotion and the Face Cream Powder again, but not sure if I'd repurchase the Advanced Whitening Lotion because of the scent.
Will do a new haul once I get my points back!
