Say hello to Sweet Bites: heaven-on-earth treats delivered right to your doorstep!
When Steph informed me that my goodies were ready, I could not contain my excitement! Her sister Katrina recently started an online business selling cookies and truffles, and I'm so glad to have been one of the first to try them out!
Due to the adjustments in her school's academic calendar, Katrina saw a huge opportunity to do something useful with her extended summer. Since her Junior Term Abroad led her to miss internship opportunities here, she took it upon herself and created her own "internship experience" instead. Her passion for baking became the centerpoint of her venture, and I seriously could not be more proud of this lady! I've known her since she was a little girl... I can't believe she's graduating college in a year! I feel so old now.
Currently, Sweet Bites offers four products: Oreo Cheesecake Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Oreo Truffles, and Cookie Dough Truffles.
I've had Oreo Cheesecake Cookies before, but this Sweet Bites' version is the bomb! My first reaction upon tasting was "holy crap" - I'm serious! The cream cheese is not too overpowering, the texture is just right, and the best part is, it's not overly sweet! It means I can eat more and not worry about waking up with a sore throat the following day. Also, look at those oreo chunks. I'm so happyyyyy. :)
The truffles are pretty amazing, as well. I like how the Oreo Truffles come with a white chocolate coating instead of milk chocolate. I've actually tried making them at home before, and mine do not even come close to these, especially in terms of aesthetics. Wanna see mine? Haha! The Cookie Dough Truffles has a more unique taste to it, which my parents totally love (my dad doesn't usually partake sweets, so this is a good sign). I took small bites at a time and the way the truffle melted in my mouth perfectly satisfied my sweet tooth cravings. Definitely buying more soon! :)
