The Clubhouse, Robinsons Magnolia

The Clubhouse
Great place. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.

The Clubhouse
My girl friends and I met up at The Clubhouse for one of our monthly get-togethers. I saw a lot of potential for it as a future hang-out-slash-date place. It's all sorts of pretty - photos on the wall, decorations here and there, etc.
The Clubhouse
Naturally, you'd expect the food to be all sorts of amazing, too, but it wasn't. Maybe I was just too sick to eat or didn't order the right dish. I really don't know.

Here we are waiting for dear ol' Cathy to arrive (latecomer!!!).
The Clubhouse
Started off with the Dip Trio (P265). The spinach dip stood out the most for me :)
The Clubhouse
Nails by Nail Cocktales. My favorite nail art to date! <3
The Clubhouse
Truffle Mushroom Cream (P275) - tasted like normal carbonara with mushrooms. I had such high expectations for this dish since it resembles Mary Grace's Truffle Mushroom Pasta (which I love).
The Clubhouse
Joy went with the Four Cheese Lasagna (P265). She finished it without any complaints, so I guess it was good.
The Clubhouse
Cathy's Five-Hour Pulled Pork Sandwich (P285)
The Clubhouse
Let's just say she ended up sharing Steph's sandwich - which was the Chicken Pesto Sandwich.
The Clubhouse
The side salad. Teehee. I just thought the colors looked pretty. :P
The Clubhouse
Denice had the Beef and Mushroom Salpicao (P345) - I remember her saying that it was nothing special, "ganun lang." Plus I wish they used a smaller plate for this so it doesn't look too underwhelming.
The Clubhouse
We initially planned on ordering dessert there, but changed our minds after trying the food. Oh well.
The Clubhouse
Despite our disappointment, we still had a great time. It's always fun catching up with these girls. <3

Do let me know how you liked the food (and your recommendations, if any) so I know what to order if I do return. Thanks! <3
